Steve Berg has been involved with boating since 1973. He has numerous professional accreditations and affiliations, coupled with extensive training in many areas such as; engine mechanics, electronics, and marine electrical systems. American Boat and Yacht Council®

Steve is ABYC® Standards Certified and has Board approval to be listed on the ABYC® website as a member of their National Registry of Accreditation. He also became ABYC® Systems Certified as of January, 2008, and ABYC® Electrical Certified in November, 2008 and is also ABYC® Corrosion Certified.

  

The Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors®

Steve is member of The Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors® (SAMS®) as an Accredited Marine Surveyor, #984 (Yacht and Small Craft).

United States Coast Guard

Steve is a Licensed Master with the U.S.C.G.

International Association of Marine Investigators
